TOPIC: HOMECOMING

Homecoming Dance--Do you like to dance? Do you like to listen to music? Do you like to have fun? Well if any of those describe you, the Homecoming Dance is the place for you! Tickets are being sold for $10 during all lunches this week. Procrastinators will pay $15 at the door Saturday night. The dance is this Saturday, September 19th from 7-11 pm. Dress is semi-formal and all grades are welcome and invited to attend. Good times will be had! Get your ticket today!

TOPIC: EAST VIEW FOOTBALL

Football tickets to this week’s game against Vandergrift HS will be sold at the diamond. The game is at the GISD Athletic Complex, and starts at 7:30PM. Students pay $3, and tickets for adults are $7. All tickets at the gate will be $8.

are available online up until 5:00 PM on game day.There is a $1.50 transaction fee per ticket, but it will keep you from having to wait in line to purchase your ticket at the game.

TOPIC: SENIOR SERVICE HOURS

Yes, seniors… if you didn’t turn in your notice of intent for senior service hours it is now too late for you to be eligible for the silver cord at graduation BUT it’s never too late to do service to look good on your college applications, job resumes, and just to be a well-rounded individual!

You have a service opportunity THIS SATURDAY…and it will be FUN! Come help decorate for homecoming! Be in the East View cafeteria at 9 AM Saturday ready to work. Be sure to check in with student council so you can get credit for your hours

TOPIC: CLASS RINGS

Attention Juniors and Seniors- Class Ring Orders will be taken again during all lunchesToday, September 18th from 12-2 PM by the Cafeteria. Any Junior or Senior who did not get an information packet and price sheet may pick one up at the diamond. A down payment is required at the time of the order.

TOPIC: SENIOR CLASS STUDENT/PARENT INFORMATIONAL MEETING

The Counseling Team at EVHS invites you to a Senior Class Student and Parent Informational Meeting the evening of Monday, September 21st, from 6p-7:30p. Counselors will share information pertaining to college entrance, transcripts, scholarships and senior year deadlines as well as will have a question and answer forum. A presentation in English will be held in the Library and a presentation in Spanish will be held in the Lecture Hall. Families are encouraged to park in Lot A and enter through the EVHS Front Entrance. We look forward to seeing you there!
