Membership fees

Prizes
Each competition will have a prize for either the heaviest fish or heaviest bag. This will be decided at the meeting preceding the competition.
Angler of the year
Points will be awarded for the senior and junior angler of the year as follows. (Note visitors will not be eligible for prizes) Members must be financial within 2 month of the season start date to be eligible.

Snapper Competition
The open competition for the heaviest snapper caught by a club member will run for (Season 1st April to March 31st). The weight must be verified by another club member or officially weighed (ie tackle shop, butcher)
General Competition Rules
Comp Captain: The elected competition captain or his nominated representative shall be responsible for conducting weigh in and recording all weights.
Competition Validity: A competition will be declared and points awarded if 4 or more members attend the weigh in however a minimum of 5 members must be in attendance for prizes to be awarded.
Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, the nominated competition captain, in consultation with other members may in the interest of safety elect to cancel the competition.

All fish caught must comply with the regulations set by the fisheries and Wildlife dept of the stae being fished. Where no minimum size is specified by the Fisheries dept or the Berwick Angling Club then a minimum weighable size of 30cm shall apply.
Noxious or Toxic Fish shall not be brought to the weigh in area unless otherwise specified
Competitors can only weigh in a maximum of 5 fish.
