GENERAL INFORMATION:

All entry forms, payment, or purchase order must be received by April 25, 2016. Games played up to and including Saturday, April 23, 2016will
be considered in the seeding meeting.

Varsity tournament brackets will be posted on BCWCA web site April 25th, 2016.

  1. The seeding meeting will take place on Sunday, April 24 at 3:00 PM at Immaculate Heart Academy. Committee Members only to attend.
  2. Each team must email their Varsity rosters by Friday, April 22 to the tournament director, Taryn Tabano ().
  3. NJSIAA and National Federation rules are in effect. Schools must arrange transportation to all game sites.

OFFICIALS: Head assigner Laura McCarthy will assign all officials except for the preliminary play in games, which will be the responsibility of the host school. The tournament committee will pay allofficials except for the preliminary play in games, which will be the responsibility of the host school. The host school will supply an official timer/scoreboard operator during the preliminary rounds. Only NJSIAA registered officials will be assigned for the duration of the tournament. Schools should notify the tournament director of any “unacceptable” official.

GAME BALLS: Each host school is to supply6 NCAA NOCSEregulation yellow game balls to be approved by the assigned officials.

STAT PERSONS: Each school is to supply two sideline personnel to keep statistics and manage game balls. Assigned officials must sign both stat books at the end of each played game.

TEAM UNIFORMS: The higher seeded team will wear white uniforms. Teams must wear contrastingcolors. Schools are responsible for confirming colors with their opponents prior to the date of the contest. Uniforms must comply with US Lacrosse Rulebook.

AWARDS: A championship team plaque or trophy will be presented to the winning team. A second placeteam plaque will also be awarded.

RAIN-OUTS: In the case of rain, the site director on location is to make the decision and notify the tournament directorand opposing teams no later than one and one half hours prior to game time. It is the responsibility of the coaches and the athletic directors to reschedule the games within the week. Tournament games will take priority over any league game and must be completed prior to the next round.

SECURITY: Each school is expected to have 1 administrator and 1 security personnel affiliated with their school inattendance at each of their school’s games. Security personnel must check in with the site manager.

GAME SCORES: The winning team’s head coach is responsible for confirming and reporting accurate game statistics for both programs.

COACHES PRESEASON MEETING: Will be held on Monday, February 15th 2016,all current Bergen County lacrosse coaches are welcomed. Details to follow.

ALL COUNTY TEAM SELECTION MEETING: The All County Girls Lacrosse team selection will be held on Wednesday, May 25th2016at 6:00PM at Glen Rock High School. A coach or AD should be present from every school to represent their athletes. Please bring accurate statistics for each nominee that follows US Lacrosse guidelines. This is a good time to sit down and review that information with your statisticians and/or team managers:

SPRING ALL COUNTY DINNERWill be held at 7:00PM on June 14th, 2016at the Fiesta on Route 17. Please email a 4 sentences maximum about your first team recipient(s) to by June 12th, 2016.As in previous seasons, the COY & First Team recipients will be guests of the BCWCA.
