FAIR GROUNDS BUILDING USE POLICY

o  All day $75 (All Buildings, Walker Building including kitchen $100/day) Paid two weeks in advance

o  Half day or less $50 (All Buildings)

o  Set up/Tear down days $25 (March – Oct.), $45 (Nov.-Feb)

o  Professional use $100 All day (All Buildings)

o  Professional use $50 Half day or less (All Buildings)

o  Walker Building Professional Activities including Kitchen $175 (Kitchen only $75)

o  Refundable Damage/Cleaning Deposit $100 paid two weeks in advance.

o  Youth / 4H Activities Exempt or minimal fee if profit being made or money collected.

Professional use refers to use when money is being made and/or collected.

CLEANING: It is expected that the premises be left in as good or better condition than when first occupied. Trash picked up and barrels emptied, etc.

SECURITY: User is responsible for seeing to it that the doors are locked, lights turned off, heat turned down and cleaning is completed.

KEYS: Keys will be picked up and returned to: Judi Dundas @ Dundas Specialties 902 Main (Keys will not be given out unless payment has been made. Deposit will be returned only when keys are returned

·  Scheduling will be done on a first come, first serve basis.

·  Scheduling of the building for private use will be done for only two days at a time. (4-H events and Clinic situations only exceptions)

·  Individuals and professional training activities where money is collected – $100 per day & $75 Half day or less will be charged. (Judd Building Only)

·  Use by Leaders without students $30 All day and $15 Half day (Judd Building Only)

·  Do you care if someone rides at the same time (Judd Building Only)?  Yes  No

LIABILITY WAIVER: The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Benewah County Fair Board, Benewah County and the City of St. Maries from and against all claims, damages, losses and expenses arising out of any action, omission, or event which causes bodily injury, illness, death or property damage caused in whole or in part by the applicants or their animals use of the Benewah County Fair Grounds.
