The Benefits Advisory Group (BAG) was established many years ago as the appropriate forum to review, analyze and recommend changes to UT's benefits program.BAG is charged with review of federal law, state statute, as well as a cost/benefit analysis of any recommended change.This group is the approval body that makes benefits recommendations for further consideration. JonGushen coordinates the statewide BAG.
The Compensation Advisory Board (CAB) was part of the HR strategic plan,a group that HR recommended and Interim PresidentSimek launched.CAB is not an approval body, but a statewide board that makes recommendations related to total compensation (salary and benefits) for further consideration.Richard Brown is the chair of CAB.
The Policy Advisory Group (PAG) was also part of our HR strategic plan and is also a statewide group which reviews and drafts policies for consideration and approval by the full President's staff.They are not an approval group. Priscilla Bright facilitates PAG.

These groups and the board are advisory only. They review and recommend possible further action. The administration of the University considers the recommendations.
Employees can offer ideas or ask questions related to state-wide employee issues through the Employee Advisory Relations Board (ERAB) or through UTALK directly to President DiPietro. For campus or institute-specific employee issues, employees should talk with their campus or institute administration.
