Program Overview
The Lawrence Township Preschool Program is a comprehensive program that services tuition-paying, low-income, and special needs children. Children with special needs are placed in the program through identification, evaluation, and eligibility procedures as outlined in New Jersey Administrative Code. Tuition-paying and low-income children are placed in the program through an application and a lottery procedure. The goal of our program is to provide our students with an excellent early childhood learning experience. Currently, the Lawrence Township Public Schools offer a variety of programs that are designed to meet the specific needs of each child.
Full Day Program
Classes will meet Monday through Friday during the hours indicated above. One certified teacher and two teaching aides will instruct each class. Students with special needs receive related services according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The classes will be comprised of low-income students, children with special needs, and tuition-paying, typically developing children. Placement of low-income children into the program will be based on a lottery. .
