STAFF CHANGES

We are sad be saying goodbye to members of staff this year our receptionist Anne who has been hear nearly 6 years retired in November and Nurse Trudy will be retiring at Christmas, we wish them both a happy and healthy retirement.

Dr Susan Farrow our GP registrar has had a beautiful baby boy, we send our congratulations to her and all the family.

Appointments

Every week a large number of appointments are wasted because people fail to turn up or don’t let us know in sufficient time to make these appointments available. Medical emergencies are always dealt with on the same day but please try to help us to help you by cancelling any unwanted appointments.

CQC Inspection Results

We are very pleased to confirm that we have an overall Good for our CQC inspection; the full report will be available on the CQC website in due course.

Repeat Prescriptions

Please allow plenty of time to order your prescription for the holiday period.

Repeat prescriptions are available 48 hours (2 working days) from when you drop it into surgery. For chemists via EPS or normal collection you need to allow 72 hours, mark chemist on slip.

Please remember we cannot give a prescription to anyone under the age of 16, and we do need to see the yellow permission card if you are collecting for someone else,these are available from our receptionist.

Prescriptions cannot be requested over the telephone except for housebound patients.

Have you tried our on-line service? Please ask the receptionist for details, they will issue you with a password and all the information you need to order prescriptions, make and/or cancel appointments.

There is always lots of useful information including open times and you can submit travel questionnaires on-line.

Text Reminders

Make sure we have your up to date mobile phone numbers so you get all your appointment reminders.

We can send you a text message reminder two days before your appointment. But

please ensure that we have your current mobile number.
