*Please review the requirements for BOTH the Bells Athletic Booster Club Scholarship and the Bells High School Coaches Scholarship listed below. If you meet the requirements for the Bells Athletic Booster Club Scholarship, you MUST apply for it and you may not apply for Bells High School Coaches Scholarship. If you do not meet the requirements for the BABC Scholarship, you may apply for the Bells High School Coaches Scholarship.

Bells Athletic Booster Club Scholarship Requirements Checklist
- Parents/Guardians MUST have been members of the Bells Athletic Booster Club for at least 2 years. Parental involvement in the BABC will be considered in the scholarship selection.
- Applicant MUST be a graduating senior.
- Applicant MUST have participated in at least two (2) different sports during their high school career and at least one (1) sport during their senior year. Special consideration may be given due to injury or other circumstances.
*If you meet these requirements, apply for the BABC Scholarship ONLY. Please see attached.
Bells High School Coaches Scholarship Requirements Checklist
- Applicant MUST be a graduating senior.
- Applicant MUST have participated in at least one (1) sport as an athlete or manager during EACH of their four (4) years of high school. Special consideration may be given due to injury or other circumstances.
*If you do not meet the BABC Scholarship requirements above, but meet the requirements for the BHS Coaches Scholarship, apply ONLY for the BHS Coaches’ Scholarship. The BHS Coaches’ scholarship is a different application. Do not complete and turn in this application for the BABC Scholarship if you do not meet ALL of the criteria listed.
The Bells Athletic Booster Club will award at least two (2) Bells Athletic Booster Club scholarships in the amount of $1000 each. Additional scholarships may be awarded depending upon the availability of funds through the BABC.
Application packets MUST be received by the end of the day on April 17, 2018.
Please turn in the packet to Ms. Flores in the high school office.
LATE OR IMCOMPLETE PACKETS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
The following items will need to be included when submitting an application for this scholarship:
Completed, signed application. - attached
Official High School Transcript – complete transcript request and turn in to office, then pick up your transcript and include with packet.
A minimum of one (1) letter of recommendation from a teacher, administrator, employer, etc.
The scholarship recipient will be announced at the annual BHS Athletic Banquet.
Scholarship funds shall be distributed to the college, university, or trade school to be used for the recipient's tuition, fees, and books. The recipient will not personally receive the funds. The funds shall be disbursed to the college, university, or trade school upon receipt of proper documentation from the recipient to the Bells Athletic Booster Club. This documentation shall include the following:
Name of institution.
Student identification number.
Official class schedule for the upcoming semester.
Name and address of department where check is to be sent.
***If for any reason the scholarship recipient does not attend college or trade school in the fall following graduation, he or she forfeits the scholarship.***
Scholarships awarded are made possible through the proceeds from the various fund raising activities sponsored by the Bells Athletic Booster Club.
