The Closing Date for entries is 1stMarch 2018.

Firstly, thank you for expressing an interest in participating in the leagues second tournament in memory of Sid Benson.

There will be a maximum of 16teams in each Age Group, (age groups as this season) teams will be split into FOUR groups of 4 teams. Each team will play each other with games scheduled for 20-minute duration. NOTE! – The format will be flexible for different numbers of entries, but our overriding principle will be to ensure the Boys and Girls play as much football as possible.

The tournaments will be played in accordance with the FA guidelines for juniorfootball (9 v 9) and for the Under 9 age group (7 v 7).

If you wish to enter the tournament, please complete the entry form (below) and return to Mark Eyres (organiser) at the address below. On receipt of your registration form and entry fee, you will then receive aconfirmation email guaranteeing your place.

You will then receive a further email two week prior to the event with a more detailed information regarding the tournament.

Each group will consist of a league format – then top two in each group will contest a cup competition and the lower two will contest a plate competition.

There will be a minimum 4 games and an extra game, if you progress into your respective final.

Under 10s will be Friday 30th March (morning slot)– games start at 9.30am prompt – due to finish at 1230pm.

Under 9s will be Friday 30th March (afternoon slot) – games start at 1pm prompt – due to finish at 4pm.

Under 11s will be Saturday 31st March (morning slot) – games start at 9.30am prompt – due to finish at 1230pm.

Under 12s will be Saturday 31st March (afternoon slot)– games start at 1pm prompt – due to finish at 4pm.

All games will take place at Caldway Playing Fields, Caldway Drive, Netherley, Liverpool., L27 2YA
