WEEK OF MAY 8TH-12TH
MONDAY, MAY 8TH
LEARNING TARGET: I can use what I have learned about measurement and sketching to make scaled orthographic drawings of designs.
BELL RINGER: Students will convert inches into centimeters on 5 problems
BEFORE: Teacher will go over the answers to the bell ringer to check for understanding.
DURING: Students will watch a short power point on dimensioning sketches.
AFTER: Students will practice drawing orthographic drawings of isometric figures and assign dimensions to each area of the orthographic sketch.
ASSESSMENT: orthographic sketches with dimensions.
TUESDAY, MAY 9TH
LEARNING TARGET: I can use what I have learned about measurements and sketching to make scaled orthographic drawings with dimensions of designs.
BELL RINGER: Students will continue to practice converting metric units into English units.
BEFORE: Teacher will go over answers to bell ringer to check for understanding.
DURING AND AFTER: Students will complete dimension orthographic drawings
ASSESSMENT: orthographic sketches with dimensions.
WED, MAY 10TH
LEARNING TARGET: I can use what I have learned about dimensioned sketches to build designs in Autodesk software to create projects.
BELL RINGER: Students will sit at computers and pull up Autodesk
BEFORE: Teacher will give directions about how to complete projects in Autodesk
DURING: Teacher will demonstrate using a video how to create project and how to navigate Autodesk
AFTER: Students will begin to build block and sketch their initials into the side of the block while teacher go around the room to answer questions.
ASSESSMENT: NONE
THURSDAY, MAY 11TH
LEARNING TARGET: I can use what I have learned about dimensioned sketches to build designs in Autodesk software to create projects.
BELL RINGER: Students will write down two questions they have about how to make a sketch and extrude in Autodesk software.
BEFORE: Teacher will answer questions about Autodesk that students are struggling with.
DURING and AFTER: Students will continue to make block in Autodesk and sketch and extrude their initials into the side of the block.
ASSESSMENT: initial block.
FRIDAY, MAY 12TH
LEARNING TARGET: I can use what I have learned about dimensioned sketches to build designs in Autodesk software to create projects.
BELL RINGER: Students will pull up their blocks in Autodesk
BEFORE: Teacher will spot check each students work to insure they have completed each part corrects.
DURING: Students will watch a short video on how to make an assembly in Autodesk.
AFTER: Students will them assemble their blocks in Autodesk for final grade on project.
ASSESSMENT: Block assembly.
