jg / We regretfully notice that orders of the Tribunal have not been carried out despite specific and repeated directions interms of the order dated 6th October, 2016.Meeting was directed to be held but for reasons best to known to the concerned officer meeting was not even held much less issue referred to it was deliberated upon.
We must notice that this project is a hanging fire for one reason or the other and the STP which was expected tobe operational much earlier (31-05-2016) has taken no effective shape to ensure that the sewerage of the city of Amritsar is treated and there is less pollution and health hazard.
We direct the CEO of the Punjab Sewage and Water Board, Member Secretary of Punjab Pollution Control Board, Secretary Environment,Secretary Urban Development, State of Punjab, all the Stakeholders and Project Proponent shall be present before the Tribunal on 20th October, 2016.
We make it clear that in the event of default we will be compelled to impose cost which will be personally recoverable from these officers and would also pass coercive order against them.
