WHEREAS, Mary Brockman, owner of Land Lease Agreement for Lot #17 located at the Ed Carlson Memorial Field-South Lewis County Airport requests permission to transfer said lease from Mary Brockman to Dan Merritt and Myron Barr, dba M.B. Aircraft, LLC; and
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Airport System Advisory Board reviewed and approved the lease transfer; and
WHEREAS, the lease allows for such assignment and transfer; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) reviewed the request to transfer said lease from Mary Brockman to Dan Merritt and Myron Barr, dba M.B. Aircraft, LLC; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the citizens of Lewis County that this lease transfer be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC concurs with the recommendation of the Lewis County Airport System Advisory Board to approve the assignment and transfer of that certain Land Lease Agreement for Lot #17, dated February 25, 1993, recorded with the Lewis County Auditor under AFN 9304332 and later modified through an addendum dated August 27, 2009, currently held by Mary Brockman to Dan Merritt and Myron Barr, dba M.B. Aircraft, LLC; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BOCC authorizes the Director of Community Development to execute the lease assignment and sign the same on behalf of the County.
