The following are some off shoot/other ideas the group might be interested in developing in line with what other NWR Groups have done over the years:

Outside speakers

Occasional trips out – Whitby, walks, Bowes Museum, York Museums or exhibition

Theatre outings

Cinema outings

Coffee Group

Lunch Group

Yearly or twice yearly ‘do’ with partners

Annual BBQ

Book Group

Walking Group

Termly Supper Club/Dinner Party Rota

The group will be what the members want it to be, nobody has to feel that they can’t come along because they don’t feel they can host or because they might just want to listen and not take an active part in contributing to the topic of the night. Everyone gets something different out of NWR which is the beauty of being a member of a group. Just coming along, listening to the topic of the night and then sharing a cup of tea or coffee and a chat with the other members is fine.
