How can I help SAE?

SAE’s TechnicalPaper Review Process ensures the quality of future papers and related products. Volunteers with expertise in all areas are needed to review papers for publication as well as recognize those worthy of SAE Transactions and various awards.

What’s in it for me?

Reviewers benefit by having access to new and current technology not yet published and can decline a review at any time if their schedules are not accommodating.

How does it work?

When your expertise is required to review an SAE technical paper, one of our volunteer organizers will contact you directly to ask for your help. If you agree to help, you will access the not-yet-published paper electronically, review it for quality, and submit your review online. You are entitled to keep your copy of the technical paper.

What are the requirements for being a reviewer?

-You must have expertise in the field(s) you volunteer to review in. A brief résumé will be required.

-You must have access to the Internet.
