R1.1/R2.1 Discharge Medications #820

C-CDA Companion Guide
- PSS posted to the listserve. Jean D. discussed. Was presented at Jan WGM. Patient care wishes to be a co-sponsor. Motion to accect patient care as co-sponsor by Jean, 2’nd by Lisa Nelson. Discussion about how to incorporate approved errata in the companion guide. Agreed they would be good to include, but that there would need to be a cutoff point for inclusion. Vote: 0 against 3 abstain, 21 for.
CDA/C-CDA on FHIR
- Canceled this week.
PHMR
- Block vote sent out last week. Motion to approve by Martin Rosner, 2nd by Lisa Nelson. Vote: 0 against, 5 abstain, 19 for.
Personal Advance Care Plan Document Block Vote (LNelson)
- Motion to approve with a minor update to include an additional typo. Motion to approve by Lisa Nelson. 2nd by Rick Geimer. Vote: 0 against, 4 abstain, 20.
UDI (GDolin)
- FDA concerned about the example of the UDI sent as a single string, and the lack of a constraint requiring all bits of the UDI to be sent separately. Will discuss on the example task force showing how to represent the parts that the FDA is concerned about as a separate id with its own root. Showing all the parts would require new modeling since they have not been discussed yet. Agreement that fixing the example is likely not an errata, and other guidance could be in the companion guide.
ASCO Ballot Recon (JBrown)
- Comment #18: Discussion on the disposition comment in the ballot spreadsheet to require one of the 3 possible concern acts. Question from Lisa about how to express multiple cancers in one document. Answer is that it is allowed by the constraints, but in general each cancer would have a different care plan. Motion to approve by Jeff Brown. 2nd by Suzanne Maddux. 0 against, 2 abstain, 24 for.
- Comment #20: Question about whether a different document level template requires its own LOINC code different from other templates. Answer is that all the document level templates represent the same type of document, they just have different validation requirements. Motion by Jeff Brown to approve the comment disposition, 2nd by Suzanne Maddux. Discussion: While the document type issue is fine, during examination we noticed that the serviceEvent code is a bit problematic (it is a diagnosis code, not a service event code). Updated the disposition to call that out and encourage the commenter to submit a separate DSTU comment to address that issue. Vote: 0 against, 3 abstain, 24 for.
Composition Rendering #9280 (Brett)
- See tracker for discussion results (Rick was talking, not taking minutes). Motion by Rick Geimer to approve, 2nd by Harry Solomon. Vote: 0 against, 0 abstain, 18 for.
DICOM Part 20: Imaging Reports using HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (Harry)
- Harry presented PSS for new version of DIR, with updates to the scope to make it clear it will comply with the SDWG quality criteria. Confirmed that the guide will be brought to ballot in HL7, and Harry gave an overview of the DICOM/HL7 coordination process. Motion by Harry Solomon to have SDWG join as co-sponsor. 2nd by Rick. Vote: 0 against, 0 abstain, 17 for.
Request for new sdtc:priorityNumber extension by Lisa Nelson.
- Lisa described the extension posted to the listserv last week. Motion to approve by Lisa Nelson, 2nd by Rick Geimer. Vote: 0 against, 0 abstain, 17 for.
C-CDA DSTU Comments
- Comment #806: 2014 certification allows a limited set of 3 character codes. 2015 says use RFC 5646. C-CDA 2.1 requires RFC 3066 and future versions. See DSTU comment page for full discussion notes. Choose not to vote yet because needs more discussion and vocab review.
