Lip liner

/ Moderate. An enclosed ice bag or baggie with frozen peas should be applied for the first few hours—10 minutes on and 10 minutes off.
Be sure to apply Vaseline and then a tissue to prevent condensation from the bag of ice touching lips. / Lips will tend to be very dry. Keep them moist using a Q-Tip with Vaseline for 14 days. Anyone having a history of cold sores, canker sores and/or fever blisters on the lips, chin or nose can ask for a prescription of 12 capsules of 500 mg. Valtrex from your physician. These can be taken 2 times a day, two days before micro-pigmentation and four days after.

LONG TERM CARE FOR ALL PROCEDURES

/ ·  Use a good sunscreen daily. Even the lips require protection as pigment can rise up due to photosensitivity of red pigment.
·  If you are planning a chemical peel, MRI or other medical procedure, please tell them that you have had an iron-oxide cosmetic tattoo.
·  If you donate blood, it is a Red Cross policy that you must wait one year after any tattooing procedure.
·  If you are planning to have laser removal of peri-oral hair or lines, you must tell your laser specialist that you have permanent lip color, so this area can be avoided with the laser. Both ablative and non-ablative lasers may or will cause pigment to turn black.

In the event of a CAT scan or MRI Scan, please inform the radiologist that you have iron oxide permanent cosmetics othewise, he or she will have no way of knowing why there is a fuzzy reading in the procedure area.

All permanent cosmetic pigments must be sun blocked with 45 spf or higher on the brows, eyelids and lips in order to prolong the life of your permanent cosmetics and because of photo sensitivity of red pigments used in the lips.

Our ultimate goal is to assist you in looking and feeling your best. Originally, if you chose a conservative approach, change your mind and desire a substantial additional amount of brow size, tail work, wider eyeliner, or darker lip color than you originally requested, there will be a slight additional charge. This will be determined and discussed with you prior to doing the additional work.

We will and are always happy to accommodate your special requests and the slight additional charge is only because this often requires as much time as the original procedure and may also require an additional touch up appointment.

Please note that you have up to 3 months on (NEW) procedures to use your included touch-up appointment, otherwise you forfeit that touch-up. If 3 months has expired since the date of your original procedure, and you would like another appointment there will be an additional fee for that touch up visit. Also note if you no show or fail to give a minimum of 48 hours in advance notice for re-scheduling of your touch-up appointment there will be an additional fee for that visit.
