I. / Course Description: / Biology introduces students to the vast diversity of organisms and the characteristics that define life. Units include biodiversity, cells, interdependence, genetics, and evolution. Inquiry based laboratory work is required.
II. / Course Objectives: / Course objectives can be viewed at this website:

III. / Classroom Expectations: /
  1. Be prepared for class and have a positive attitude.
  2. Be in your seat before the tardy bell.

If you are absent because of a school sponsored activity, you are responsible for having your assignments the day you return to class.
It is the student's responsibility to make up missed tests and to turn in all missed assignments. There will be a make-up notebook on my desk containing assignments for each period. Find a study partner to call when you are absent.
