BDC 2010 Christmas Parade
*If your child will not be able to attend, please see Katie at the front desk. This will help us determine if we need one or two floats. *
Dear Parents and Dancers,
We will be participating in the 31st annual 2010 Rincon Christmas Parade. The parade is this Saturday November 20th. Dancers needs to be at McCumber ballpark promptly at 9:00 a.m. Look for our pink, black, and silver float & bright blue truck! The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. The parade will start from McCumber ball park and end at 9th street. Here we will take a right and wrap around, ending at First Baptist Church. Dancers may be picked up in the playground area at the church. All Pre-K & Tiny classes (ages 3-6 years old), must have one parent to ride on the float with them, wearing a solid black or white shirt. All other dance classes (Mini & up -ages 7 & up) will be dancing in the parade. Parents are not allowed to walk in the parade, I promise we will take good care of them.
Our little dancers ages 3-6years old (Pre-K & Tiny) are to wear their Black BDC Performance Leo with nude tights, along with their sequin set.
All other Dancers 7 & older (Mini & up classes) will wear their Black BDC Performance Leo with nude tights along with their sequin sets. If you ordered black dance shorts you may wear these over the leotard and nude tights. If you ordered black dance pants you may wear these instead of the tights.
Elite Company Dancers: black BDC leo, nude tights, zebra shorts, & sequin set.
*Teens wear black dance shorts* *All elite company will wear Santa Hats*
All Dancers:
Santa hats & Antlers will be given out at the parade. Ages 3-6 will wear antlers & ages 7 & up will wear Santa hats (please bring bobby pins).
Our theme this year is “Let it snow,” So dancers are welcome to wear black, scarfs, gloves, & legwarmers .
Sequin Sets consist of: 2 wristlets, 1 waistband.
*It may be cold during the this Parade* If it is cold, you may wear a black legwarmers (over your tights), black turtle neck or athletic body armor (under your leo). Body armor is thinner and seems to look better under the leo. (can be found at sports stores or Wal-mart)
All Dancers will need to wear a solid black shoe of some sort (ex: Hip-Hop, Jazz, Acro, or Tennis Shoe)
Hair: Santa Hats- Pull half up & leave half down. Antlers- 2 high ponytails. Dancers may also wear rhinestone stud earrings, if they wear jewelry. (please, no other items are to be worn). I know we will look great this year and for the years to come.

Directions To McCumber Ballpark From BDC
Take a right out of BDC, onto Hwy. 21.
Promptly turn left at the light, & then left at the following light.
Follow Hwy. 21 (you will pass the Rincon Wal-Mart)
Take a right onto Fourth Street beside Rincon Elementary.
Go about 3 blocks and take a left onto Lexington Rd.
Stay on Lexington and about ½ mile down you will see McCumber ballpark to your right.
Look for our pink, black and silver float, & bright blue truck.
