Lancaster County Zoning and Building Permit Officials Association presents:
BCO 119 – Building Code Official Refresher Course
COURSE DESCRIPTION: It is hard to believe that Pennsylvania has been administering the complex Uniform Construction Code for over 10 years. As an added challenge to those working with the UCC, the Act has been amended multiple times, each time creating new provisions or changing existing code provisions, all of which need to be learned by those working with the Act. This course is designed for seasoned code officials, those newer to the profession, or anyone looking for a thorough refresher of sections of the Act that have been impacted by UCC amendments as well as UCC provisions that are exceptionally challenging. Class participation is encouraged!
On Thursday, April 26, 2018, LCZBO will sponsor this refresher course for BCOs. Six continuing education hours will be awarded. This FREE course will be held at the Lancaster Townships Municipal Building, 1240 Maple Avenue, Lancaster, PA.
Course includes training manual, coffee, assorted muffins, lunch and beverages.
