BCKDF Applications: Step 1– Basic and BC Priorities

SIGNATURE PAGE – INSTRUCTIONS

A lead institution submitting more than one BCKDF application may choose to use this Step 1 Signature Page instead of providing one signature per application.

This Signature Page is optional – institutions preferring to submit individual applications that are each signed separately may continue to do so.

This Signature Page provides oneapproval/signature for a batch of applications submitted on the same daybya lead institution.

A list of all the applications included in the batch must be appended using theBCKDF ApplicationSummarytable.

ASignature Page template is provided below for your convenience – please copy the content into your institution letterhead as per your normal process.

The Signature Page must be signed by the president, CEO, chair, or designate of the lead B.C.applicant institution.

In the case of joint or multi-partner applications, each B.C. applicant institution mustprovide signatures– You can append copies of the Signature Page from the individualBCKDF Step 1 application forms to your Single Signature page as appropriate. For national projects, signatures are not required for co-applicants from outside of B.C.

By signing the Signature Page, the signatory:

  • Acknowledge thatthe information and documentation provided is correct and may be shared with Ministry staff and others for the purpose of administering the BC Knowledge Development Fund;
  • Agree to and accept the conditions governing the BCKDF funding, as outlined in the BCKDF Guidelines; and,
  • Accept the commitment to ensure appropriate resources are provided for the operation and maintenance of the proposed BCKDF-funded research infrastructure over its useful life.
