Examples:

No requirement for utilities connection. 415v & 240v connections available (RAF FM to provide all necessary details). Dividing wall to height of hanger, not fire resisting. External contractor for wall build, tenders out w/c 10th Feb

Use of the form

Once the form has been completed, what happens next will to some extent depend on the scale and nature of the proposed construction activity;

If your project is classified as a Small construction related task, then you should consider this document as a simple planning document and share it with the contractors and designers and any other team members who are involved in the construction work. For small straightforward tasks, contractors should in turn have risk assessments /method statements / safe systems of work in place to allow the work to be undertaken safely.

If your project fits into the Medium Construction Related Project category, then this document could be considered as either pre construction information or a construction phase plan dependent on the size and nature of the project. Either way again it should be shared with all contractors and designers, and any other team members who are involved in the construction work.

If your project looks like it will fit into the Large Construction Related Project category, then this document should be considered as a planning sheet. Given the scale of the project the requirements for the amount of pre-construction information required and the detail in the construction phase plan will likely necessitate the need for more in depth paperwork.
