5. a) What do you understand by ‘Binomial’ distribution? What are its main features? The mean and variance of a binomial distribution are 3 and 2 respectively. Find the probability that the variable takes values less than or equal to 2. (5)

b) How will you utilize the hospital statistics to control the health problems? Discuss the problems arising in collection of disease data. (5)
