Battles of WWII: Class Project

Due December, 20th, 2017

Each Group will be assigned a specific battle from World War II. You will research the battle using your textbook, internet and other sources. You will be working in groups for this project. When presenting every student will have to speak. During the presentations, the audience will be listening and filling out the worksheet. After the presentations, you could be quizzed on the information supplied by your classmates. You will be required to type out your information and hand it in the day of your presentation so make sure you have a copy for you and your partners to use during your presentation to the class.

THIS PROJECT IS WORTH 30 POINTS (Content, Participation, Presentation)

Requirements:

You will be working on this project in-class so make sure you use your time effectively! You will need to use sources for this project…a work cited page will be collected and will count as part of your project grade.

Presentations should be between 10 and 15 minutes…no more, no less please

You need to supply one visual aid to show to the class pertaining to your assigned battle. Presentations begin Wednesday December 20th.

BATTLE/TOPIC TITLE

Who: You will list who took part in your battle

(name of main countries/names of battle leaders for each side)

What: You will explain what type of battle it was (air, sea, land)

When: You will identify the time frame of your battle (starting and ending dates)

Where: You will explain where your battle took place and the significance of thislocation

Why: You will explain what the outcome of this battle was and explain why this battle was significant to Canada and the outcome of WWII

(Why are we studying this specific battle)

How: You will supply three (3) facts from your research that you feel areimportant…what should your classmates know about this battle?????????
