BASS TOURNAMENT RULES & INFORMATION
Date: Sunday, June 21, 2009
Time: 6:00am to 12:00pm
Entry Fee: $10.00 per adult angler / $5.00 for ages 6 to 17
· Open to all residents of Shadow Lakes who are licensed anglers if state law applies and to our younger anglers as well
· Two anglers to a boat / younger anglers 17 and under must be with an adult
· One pole in the water at a time
· Bass must be at least 10 inches in length to qualify for measuring
· Live or artificial baits may be used
· Anglers must keep at least 50 feet from another angler
· Shoreline fishing is accepted for those without a boat and the same rules apply
· Catch must be measured by partner, not the catcher, to the nearest 1/8 inch, recorded on the tally sheet, and signed by the angler doing the measuring. You can also take a photo of the fish but the measurements must still be taken and recorded.
ONLY THE BEST FIVE OF YOUR CATCH MAY BE USED
Winner to be determined by the total number of inches caught
In case of a tie, the angler with the least number of bass would win
REMEMBER THIS IS FATHER’S DAY, AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO SPEND IT THAN
FISHING WITH YOUR BUDDY. BE IT A FAMILY MEMBER OR JUST A GOOD FRIEND. RELAX ON THE WATER ALL MORNING THEN HAVE THE FAMILY JOIN US FOR A GREAT LUNCH.
