2018 Welsh Trials Championship
Basic rules and Guidelines
Please give the Welsh Motorcycle Federation your full support and follow these simple guidelines.
Entries – There will be No entries allowed on the day of the event. Any entries received after the closing date will be charged a surcharge of £5
Fees – Entry fees be Adults £20 and Youth £13
Sign On – All riders to sign on 30 minutes prior to event start time
Start – First to enter – last away will apply (if anyone wishes to ride with someone they must enter at the same time)
Time Limit – Overall time limit will be announced at the start.
Recommended,3 laps of12 Sections, or 4 laps of 10.
5. hour time limit.
No time limit on 1st lap.
Sign Off – The onus is on the rider to sign off – this will be done when you finish time is taken
Observation – All events will be run under ACU TSR22B no stop
Class Identification – Clubs must use class identification cards supplied by WMF to be displayed on all machines.
Championship- Green Card
Expert Red Card
Masters50/50 Blue Card
Clubman Yellow Card
Sportsman Plus 50/50 White Card
Sportsman White Card.
Section Markers – Coloured Sections markers to be used as follows
Championship Green Deviation off principal course
Expert Red/Blue principal course
Master 50/50 Red and blue / Yellow
Clubman – Yellow Deviation
Sportsman Plus White/ Yellow 50/50.
Sportsman White Deviation
Signs must be place at the start of each section to indicate which routes the Masters and Plus classes use.
Punch Cards – Use of punch cards is recommended
Results – These to be displayed at finish.
No riding Around – This not only applies to part of the venue not included in the route but also to the start and finish area.
Not riding the course or sections as instructed – Will lead to penalty marks or disqualification from the event
Restarting in sections – A rider failing a sub section must re-start in a forward direction from the sub-section that they failed in.
Completion of the Course- All riders must follow the full course and ride sections as instructed. No missing out part of the route or doubling up on sections will be allowed
Penalties – Any rider reported for any of the above will be liable for disqualification from the event. Further complaints will lead to further disciplinary action being taken.
