· Coding club will be postponed until after the Robotics Competition on May 11th
· Attention 8th graders: If you are interested in being a Teen Volunteer at First Heath Moore Regional Hospital this summer see your counselor for an application packet. You must be at least 13 years old and it is a first come, first serve basis for space is limited.
· PE…. The Physical Education Department will be doing our Reproductive Health Unit in the coming weeks. The girls will be going first from April 25-29 and the Instructor for this class is Coach Laura Kinsman. The boys will be going May 9-13 and the Instructors are Coach Victor Morales and Coach Tom Shaffer.
o A permission slip will be sent home if it has not been already. The form must be signed and returned to your PE teacher. If you choose to have your child opt out of this lesson, they will have an alternate Health assignment for the week.
o All course material is in a black binder at the front desk, if any parent would like to come and look at what we teach before you sign the permission slip.
· All rising 6th and 7th grade students – Cheerleading tryouts will be May 17-20 from 3:15-5:00. Tryout packets will be available April 25th in the front office or from Coach Flannery. All physicals are to be completed and current by May 17th to be allowed to begin the tryout process. Please sign up outside the front office if interested. Remember, free physicals are scheduled for April 23rd at the Moore County Health Dept.
