BARRENNESS AND PROSPECTIVE FOAL INSURANCE EXTENSION

Subject to the Policy Terms, Conditions and Exclusions and in consideration of the premium paid by the Insured, the Insurers hereby agree to indemnify the Insured in the amount of the limit of the Insurer's liability shown in the schedule of the insured animals in the event of the insured mare:

1.Being proven not to be in foal at 1st October 2010 from service or attempted service by the stallion specified in the schedule of insured animals during the 2010 Northern Hemisphere breeding season.

Or, where the period of insurance in respect of the mare is extended beyond foaling date in 2011.

2.Failing to produce a single live foal from service or attempted service by the stallion specified in the schedule of insured animals during the 2010 Northern Hemisphere breeding season or, having produced a single live foal, in the event of the said foal failing to survive until the expiry of the period of insurance specified in the Policy.

This insurance also covers the risks of multiple pregnancy in the event of the insured mare either:-

a)Carrying more than one fully-developed live or stillborn foal,

or, where the period of insurance in respect of the mare is extended beyond foaling date in 2010

b)Producing more that one fully-developed live or stillborn foal

Furthermore, any multiple pregnancy detected by scanner report or manual examination to be notified within five days to the insurers.

This insurance also covers loss of a foetus specified in the schedule of insured animals as a direct result of death of the mare.

CONDITIONS

1. It is the condition precedent to any liability of the Insurers hereunder that:

a)The mare insured hereunder shall be in sound health and free from any injury or physical disability whatsoever at the time of commencement of the Insurance:

b)Prior to the inception of the Policy the mare insured hereunder shall not already been covered in the breeding season for which this insurance is in force:

c)The mare shall be covered in a minimum of three oestral periods (excluding foal oestrus) and shall continue to be covered by the stallion specified in the schedule in any subsequent oestral periods until the end of the breeding season stated unless mare is already confirmed by a positive scanner report or manual pregnancy certificate to be in foal with a single foetus:

d)Any multiple pregnancy detected and any 'pinching' or 'flushing' of said multiple pregnancy to be notified to the Insurers within five days of detection:

e)The Insured shall produce a certificate signed by the Manager of the stud stating the dates on which the mare has been covered by the stallion:

f)The Insured shall produce a Veterinary Certificate confirming a pregnancy examination at no less that forty days after last service stating that the mare is barren.

2.In the event that service by the stallion is refused for any reason this Policy shall be null and void and the premium hereon returned in full. Substitute mares nominated are not insured unless hereunder unless:

a)A separate submission in respect of the substitute mare has been made to and accepted by the Insures and

b)The particulars of the mare duly endorsed hereon and

c)Any adjustment of premium payment required by the Insurers duly made.

3.In the event of the payment by the Insurers of a claim hereunder the Insurers shall, if they so elect, take undisputed ownership of any interest in the residual foetus or foal(s) as applicable.

DUE DILIGENCE CLAUSE

The Insured shall use due diligence and do and concur in doing all things reasonable practicable to avoid or diminish any loss hereunder
