BARENTS WINTER GAMES (BWG)
Luleå 16th – 18th of March 2018

With great pleasure, the Barents Sport Committee Sweden, and Norrbottens
Idrottsförbund invite you to participate in BWG 2018 in Luleå, Sweden.

The first Barents Games ever took place in Tromsø 2014 (wintergames), and the first Barents Summer Games took place in Oulu, Finland in 2015. Now it is the time for Sweden to organize the Barents Winter Games 2018!

Figure skating

Age group: 15-20 years

Team structure: 16 athletes (8 boys and/or 8 girls), 2 leaders, 1 Judge (National or International Judge)

Framework for the event

●  Accommodation in hotels (double/triple rooms) from Friday to Sunday;

●  Transport: hotels-arenas-hotels from Friday to Sunday;

●  Meals:

o  March 16th – dinner

o  March 17th – breakfast, lunch, dinner

o  March 18th – breakfast, lunch

Friday March 16th

12.00 – 16.00 / Arrival in Luleå, accreditation and check-in at the hotels
12.00 – 18.30 / Registration office in the hotel is open
17.00 – 18.30 / Dinner at the hotel
19.30 – 20.15 / Opening Ceremony at Norra Hamn
20.30 - / Team leader meeting at the hotel (possible earlier in the afternoon)


Saturday March 17th

07.00 – 08.30 / Breakfast at the hotel
08.30 / Transportation to the arena (bus or walk)
09.00 – 10.00 / Preparation on the arena
10.00 / Competition starts
12.00 – 13.30 / Lunch at the arena
16.00 / Competition ends
16.30 / Transportation to the hotel
17.00 – 18.30 / Dinner at the hotel
19.00 / Transportation to Get-Together (bus or walk)
19.30 – 20.30 / Get Together

Sunday March 18th

Junior B, Ladies and Men,according to rules Novice B, subgroup older. Freeskating only.(age 15-20)

Since there may be Juniors and Seniors competing with Junior and Novice rules the length of programs will vary. Therefore all programs between 3 to 4 minutes will be accepted and no time deductions will be made.

Officials

The Swedish Figure Skating Association will nominate the Technical panel and the Referee. We kindly ask your country to nominate one (1) judge for BWG.
