General Instructions
- Application form should be neat and clean and only be on prescribed proforma.
- Candidates applying for more than one post are required to make separate applications.
- Bar Council of India reserves the right to fix, change, modify or relax the criteria for calling the required number of candidates and to scrutinize the application if necessary, for test/interview.
- Complete Applications (as per the format which can be downloaded from BCI website) may be sent along with copies of relevant certificates and testimonial to “Secretary, Bar Council of India, 21 Rouse Avenue, Instiotutional Area , New Delhi-110002” to reach him latest by 21st January, 2014 along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- for the post of Assistant Medical Officer, Assistant Public Relation Officer, Legal Assistant, DD of Rs. 1000/- for the post of Assistant Grade I and DD of Rs. 500/- for the post of Daftary, Driver, Peon and Cook. The DD should be in favour of “Secretary, Bar Council of India” payable at New Delhi.
- Incomplete and defective applications will be rejected outrightly.
- Fee once paid is not liable to be refunded.
Qualification required:-
FOR POST CODE 01 AND 09 (Assistant Medical Officer)
Age Limit: Between 40 years to 45 years as on 31.12.2013. For SC/ST candidates, there shall be relaxation of 5 years in age.
Candidate must have a degree of either MBBS,BAMS or BUMS from a recognized University with atleast 10 years experience in any establishment.
Note: For the post of Assistant Medical Officer, there shall not be any written test, selection will be made on the basis of interview.

FOR POST CODE 02 AND 10 ( Assistant Public Relation Officer cum Programmer)
Age Limit: Between 22 years to 35 years. For SC/ST candidates, there shall be relaxation of 5 years in age.
Candidate must have a degree of MA/MBA/Graduation in any technical stream with knowledge of computer operations.
Note: The Selection will be made for this post on the basis of written test and interview.
FOR POST CODE 03( Legal Assistant)
Age Limit: Between 25 years to 35 years. For SC/ST candidates, there shall be relaxation of 5 years in age.
Candidate must have a degree of LL.B from a recognize University and should have good knowledge of Computer.
Note: The Selection will be made for this post on the basis of written test and interview.
FOR POST CODE 04 AND 11(Assistant Grade-I)
Age Limit: Between 21 years to 35 years. For SC/ST candidates, there shall be relaxation of 5 years in age.
Candidate must have Graduate from any recognized University in any stream and should have good knowledge of Computer.
Note: The Selection will be made for this post on the basis of written test and interview.
FOR POST CODE 05 (Daftary)
Age Limit: Between 21 years to 35 years. For SC/ST candidates, there shall be relaxation of 5 years in age.
Candidate must have a minimum qualification of 10 + 2 from any recognized Board.

FOR POST CODE 06( Driver)
Age Limit: Between 21 years to 35 years.
Candidate must have 10th pass certificate from any recognized Board.
Must have valid LMV license with a driving experience of 5 years.

Age Limit: Between 25 years to 40 years. For SC/ST candidates, there shall be relaxation of 5 years in age.
Candidate must have 8th pass certificate.

FOR POST CODE 08(Cook)
Age Limit: Between 25 years to 40 years. For SC/ST candidates, there shall be relaxation of 5 years in age.
Candidate must have 8th pass certificate and must have experience of 2 years of cooking.
