A warm welcome to all our parents and children of 2017. We are honored to be trusted with the learning and development of your most precious gifts. Please feel free to speak to your child’s teachers about any concerns you have about your child at school and their learning.My name is Claire Shepherd and as of January 2017, I am head of Vuleka ELC’s. Fundraising News:
14/02 Valentine’s Day- We will be having a civics day to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Children are to please cone dressed in red and white. We will also be dong various arts and crafts and baking. Please send R10 to school to cover the activities for this day.HOTDOGS ON WEDNESDAYS- we are selling hotdogs at a cost of R8 every Wednesday. Please send the money with your child and make a note in their communication book so we know that money has been sent.
Our annual RAFFEL will start at the end of January. Each child will be given a raffle sheet with 20 tickets to sell at a cost of R2 per ticket. Please watch out for more details concerning our raffle.
Extra Murals
Ballet is offered at our school. Please contact Pat Jones 082503 3522 for more information. Ballet classes are held during school time each week. Registration forms can be found in your child’s bag or from your class teacher.Yoga classes will start on Monday 23 and take place for everyone during school time. Please send Children to school in Vuleka shorts and t-shirts with takkies.

Curriculum News
Our children have been very busy the past two weeks; they have spent time learning to make friends and learning about Vuleka. We have done many fun activities developing math and language skills including many fine motor skills.
