Structure of the Executive Committee:
CJ Division Co-Chairs: representing DOC and CSSD funded providers
Immediate Past Co-Chair(s): may be DOC and/or CSSD funded
Three representatives: primarily DOC funded, both large and smaller agencies
Three representatives: primarily CSSD funded, both large and smaller agencies
Expectations - Responsibilities of Executive Committee Members:
Minimum term: three years, with potential for re-election.
Members of the Executive Committee will serve in conjunction with the Division Co-Chairs, and Julia Wilcox, CT Nonprofit Alliance, to develop the direction, scope and priorities of the Community Justice Division.
Concepts and recommendations developed within the Executive Committee, will serve as direction for the CJ Division at large.
Committee members may be called upon to represent the Division at meetings with State Officials and/or Legislators, and receive priority (the right of first-refusal) related to any opportunities to represent the division: committee activities, etc.
Executive Meetings will take place bi-monthly (every other month) or as needed, immediately prior to CJ Division Meetings.
Consistent attendance at the monthly meetings of the CJ Division is expected and appreciated.
