Candidates’ Statements
Tauqir Fillebeen
My professional life has been focused on scientific research and teaching. I have a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and have enjoyed a good number of researchand teaching years both in France and the USA. In this connection I worked at the NationalInstitute of Scientific Research (CNRS) in France and subsequently worked at ColumbiaUniversity in NY and at CSU in Fort Collins.
During my professional life, I have been a firm believer in forming a strong friendlyatmosphere for dialogue with both my students and colleagues, thus creating an enjoyablerelationship for everyone involved.
I have been a full time resident of San Miguel County since 2007 and a fulltimeWilson Mesa resident since 2008. (We had been coming regularly to this area since 1995). Like in every place I have lived, I have been fortunate enough to engage in great human relations and I look forward to be part of an even more caring Wilson Mesacommunity.
I believe in strong human relationships, which are so much part of our quality oflife. I feel strongly that the HOA board members should work with and for its members. Ialso feel that all the actions taken by the board must be transparent and that the membersshould be kept informed regularly of what is going on. If elected a member of the board, Iwould consider as my mission to promote communication and transparency.
All of us on Wilson Mesa chose to be here because we love these magnificentmountains. I also believe that communication between the board and its members shouldbe an important part of this marvelous Wilson Mesa adventure.

Oil Service Industry: last position-VP International. P and L responsibility for worldwide manufacturing, service, sales, and marketing for privately held major oil tool manufacturer
Personnel Industry: President, now retired, part time consultant to the firm

Betty Miller
I would like to be reelected to the Wilson Mesa Homeowners Board of Directors. I have served on the Board since 2002 and have been responsible for many duties:
Annual meeting arrangements
Road maintenance and snow plowing
Keeping UPS, Fed Ex and Fed Ex Ground updated on physical addresses
Weed spraying
Answering realtors questions concerning properties for sale
Working with the county for Wilson Mesa Mesa Ranch Circle maintenance
I have been a property owner since 1989 and the management and welfare of Wilson Mesa is very important to me.
