Please complete the application form and return it, with your entrant’s fee in a sealed envelope to:

Last date for applications is 26th June.

-Reference Number: Prefix BG followed by the applicant’s name (e.g. BGJohnSmith)
You can then email your submissions to , including the above reference number on the application form.

Categories
Category / Entry Requirements / DescriptionSugarcraft / Professional Bakers only / Godalming Theme. Cake will be judged on looks and taste. The cake must be displayed on a 12” board of any shape, and can be as tall as you like!
In addition to the cake please provided a sample cake to taste as originals will be raffled off.
Cupcake Challenge / Age 4-11 / Six decorated cupcakes
Gingerbread People / Age 4-16 / One gingerbread person to be presented, no taller than 6” and decorated as your hero.
Creative Cakes / Age 12-16 / Decorative sponge cake. Judged on taste and appearance. Size, shape and height is up to you.
Bread / All ages / Traditional or modern. Shape and flavor is totally up to you.
Savoury Bake / All ages / Pasties, quiches, pies can all be included in this category -but no bread. Anything goes. Will be judged on taste and appearance. Displayed in an area no bigger than 12”. Either one 8” item or a minimum of 4 individual bakes to be presented.
Sweet Bake / All ages / Not your typical layer cake? Tray bakes, Muffins, Loaf Cakes. Anything goes. Will be judged on taste and appearance. Displayed in an area no bigger than 12”. Either one 8” item or a minimum of six individual bakes or slices to be presented.
Scones / All ages / Everyone loves a traditional scone – but how can you improve it? Sweet or savoury, with fruit or spice, the choice is up to you. A batch of six uniform scones to be presented with your chosen accompaniments.
Big Cake / All ages / Let your imagination run riot with an 8” cake. It can be as many layers as you like and presented on a board or plate no bigger than 10”. Judged on taste and appearance.
Entrants Fee
Entry to the competition is £2 per category for adults and £1 per category for children.
There is no cost for professionals to enter the Sugarcraft category but cakes will be raffled off for charity.
Entrants fee donations will be made to local charities.
On The Day – 1st July
All entries to be delivered to the Wilfred Noyce Centre, Godalming between 1 – 1:45pm.
Judging will begin at 2:30pm
Winners will be announced at 4:30pm at the Pepperpot.
