BMath/BEcon

BMath/BEcon students complete #32 from the BEcon course list, comprising #18 of compulsory courses from Group 1 not including ECON1050 and ECON1310, and #14 (no more than #6 from level 1 courses and at least #8 at level 3) from either one major in Group 2 (#6 must be level 3) and #2 from Group 3, or #14 from Group 3.

BE(Hons)/BEcon

BE(Hons)/BEcon students complete #36 from the BEcon course list, comprising #20 of compulsory courses from Group 1 not including ECON1050, and #16 (no more than #6 from level 1 courses and at least #8 at level 3) from either one major in Group 2 (#6 must be level 3) and #4 from Group 3, or #16 from Group 3. Students should also note the below incompatibles.

Incompatibles

*ECON1050 is incompatible with MATH1050 or MATH1051 or MATH1071.

**ECON1310 is incompatible with CHEE2010 orCHEE3010 or CIVL2530 or MINE3214 or STAT1201 or STAT1301 or STAT2201.

Students who are exempt from ECON1050 and/or ECON1310 are required to take a #2 ECON course from Group 3 of the BEcon course list in replacement of each #2 exemption.

If you completed ECON1050 + MATH1050 prior to 2013, or you completed ECON1050 + MATH1051 in 2013, please contact a Student Experience Officer in the BEL Faculty for advice.

MATH1040

You cannot take MATH1040 as part of this program.
