B.S. with a Major in Applied Mathematics - Business Option

A field of application in business administration is an option within the Bachelor of Science with a Major in Applied Mathematics program. A graduate with a degree that combines mathematics and business has a wide variety of career options available in areas such as marketing, economics, finance, and management. Success in the business world demands problem solving skills, hard work, and the ability to learn quickly - all evidenced by completion of a degree in mathematics. The business courses included in this program constitute a minor in business, and are generally considered adequate background for entrance into most MBA programs.

Program Requirements

The B.S. with a major inApplied Mathematics with a field of application in business requires the completion of at least 120 semester hours, including at least 42 hours of general education, at least 36 hours of mathematics, at least 21 hours of business, and 6 hours of computer science.
