AWARD NOTICE

USAID Freight RFP No. AC17-0069 Durban Prepo

On behalf of USAID, Charterer, BKA Logistics is pleased to announce following freight award.

Charter Party Date March 17 2017

OWNERS: CSAL

VESSEL: MV BALTIC MERCUR II , Built 2004 , Flag Malta – Singledeck Multipurpose type

IMO # 9235361

CARGO: As part cargo 5,000 MT Min/Max Bulk Sorghum plus 102,000 empty bags.

Empty bags must be transported freight free on the same vessel as the cargo of Bulk Sorghum.

USAID cargo will be separated naturally.

LAYDAYS: April 15-25, 2016. Owner to provide 14 days pre-advice of vessel readiness to load.

LOAD PORT: One safe berth, One safe port US Gulf Texas port.

LOADING TERMS: The cargo is to be loaded according to berth terms with customary despatch at

the average rate of 4,000 MT of 2,204.6 pounds Per Weather Working day of 24 consecutive hours, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays excepted, even if used (WWDSSHEX EIU).

DISCHARGE PORT(S):Durban, South Africa

At USAID, charterer’s, option discharge at East London, South Africa; and/or at charterer’s option Beira, Mozambique;and/or at charterer’s option Nacala, Mozambique; and/or at charterer’s option Maputo, Mozambique; and/or at charterer’s option Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania;and/or at charterer’s option Tulear (Toliara), Madagascar. USAID shall declare the discharge port(s) option ten (10) days after vessel sails from the load port.

Due the vessel LOA Restrictions at Tulear, The MV Baltic Mercur II cannot call at Tulear.

DISCHARGE TERM(S):

A) At Durban the cargo is to be discharged under Full Berth Terms, no demurrage/ no despatch/ no detention, with USAID option for Owners to have cargo:

i) Bagged and delivered to Free On Truck Door charterer’s/receiver’s designated warehouses at

SDV South Africa, 30 Paisley Road, Jacobs, Durban, South Africa

And/or

ii) Bagged and stacked on to receiver’s conveyances at end of bagging line in the port of Durban, South Africa.

B) At all other discharge ports, discharge to be basis Full Berth Terms no demurrage / no despatch / no detention with USAID option

i) to have cargo bagged and stacked on to receiver’s conveyances at the port of discharge.

ii) to have cargo bagged and stacked on floor of receivers’ contracted/named port warehouses.

FREIGHT RATES:

Cargo and Quantity: 5,000 MT Min/Max bulk sorghum plus empty bags to be carried freight free.

A)Durban South Africa Ocean freight rate basis Full Berth Terms USD 70.00 per MT.

Durban Discharge Options:

i)Bagging/stacking SDV Warehouse Door Delivery:USD 30.00 per MT.

DEMURRAGEAt load port USD 13,500.00 per day pro rata

DESPATCH : At load port USD 6,750.00 per day pro rata

Otherwise all other terms and conditions as per USAID Freight RFP AC17-0069 dated March 08, 2017, and the

USAID Vessel Load/BT Discharge Proforma Charter Party.
