WHEREAS, The Township of Bernards Department of Engineering Services wishes to purchase Four (4) Backstops for Mountain Park from the NJ State Contract #A59053.

WHEREAS, it is the combined recommendation of the Director of Engineering Services, Administrator and Purchasing Agent to award this purchase to AABAR, Inc., 25 Kearney Street, East Orange, NJ 07017-1205 in the amount of $31,366.00; and

WHEREAS, the treasurer has certified that funds are available in the 2004 Budget for the same, and the line item appropriation or ordinance to be charged is # 1696, account C-04-55-696-A02.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Committee of the Township of Bernards, Somerset County, New Jersey that the purchasing agent is authorized to issue a purchase order to: AABAR, Inc., 25 Kearney Street, East Orange, NJ 07071-1205.
