30thTeam Builders Night- Clubbers should come with 3 interesting facts about themselves that they can share and get to know their teammates with.

13thUncle Sam Day- Dress as Uncle Sam or just plain patriotic

20thSchools Out take a Break!! –NO AWANA

27thFall “Kick Off”- Are you ready for some football?? Show us your team pride!!-September Birthdays

4thCrazy Hair Day- Come with a wacky, zany new do

11thWe will be observing National “Bring Your Teddy Bear Day,” clubbers can bring their cuddly stuffed friends and also join in a teddy bear hunt!!

18thPajama Night- Come ready for bed in your comfy PJ’s

25thFake Injury Night- Come with your fake band aids, breaks or boo-boos be creative!! Nothing gruesome please!! -October Birthdays

November

1st Paper Plane Night- make your best plane and join us for some friendly flying competitions. Prizes will be awarded for fastest, farthest, prettiest etc.

8thIt’s the return of the We “CAN” do it food drive. Bring a can of food to donate to the needy.

15thThankful Tree Night- Clubbers should make a leaf out of paper, write what they are thankful and bring it to add to our “tree”

22nd Break for Thanksgiving –NO AWANA

29th Wrap Your Leader Night- Clubbers will get in the holiday spirit and brush up on their wrapping –Paper will be provided. Clubbers may bring anything extra to really make leaders look “special”. Prize for winning team.-November Birthdays

6thUgly Sweater Night- Wear your comfiest, ugliest sweater (or borrow one from your mom)

13thJoy to the World- Bring anything you can use as an instrument to make a Joyful Noise

10thGroup Picture- Half Night- This week marks our halfway point. Prizes will be awarded to all clubbers that are halfway through their books, and other “half” fun.

17thHigh Five Night- tonight we will be awarding all things 5 (5 verses, sections etc.) and of course giving lots oftraditional “FIVES”

24th Measles Night- Kids come dotted with “measles”. (The MOST fun for the kids, is to place a red dot on a leader for every verse completed.) See who gets the worst case of the measles.

31st Backward Night- Clubbers should come as backwards as they can… hair, clothes, shoes get creative!!-January Birthdays

7thBe the KING or QUEEN of Hearts for the night

14thValentine’s Day –NO AWANA

21st Coins Count Night- Clubbers will bring their spare change to donate. Group with the most change (dollar wise) will get extra points.

28th Reverse Scavenger Hunt- Bring a gal zip bag or lunch sack filled with items from home. Anything that will fit in your bag is fair game. Kids who have the most “items” on the leaders “mystery” list will win. -February Birthdays

7th B.A.R.F. Bring a real friend night. Bring a friend to AWANA and receive extra points for your team!!

14th Spring Break –NO AWANA

21st Sink or Float Night, bring an item and attempt to stump the club with the question, “Will it sink or float?”

28th Egg Hunt- All clubbers must bring 5 filled eggs in order to participate in the hunt.

4th Glow for Jesus- Bring something glow in the dark. The night’s events will be centered around a “glow” theme.

11th Armor Up- Clubbers should come with something that represents their spiritual armor as we discuss these important tools. Ephesians 6:14-17

18th Life’s Lifesavers- Clubbers should come with what they consider or think of as their lifesaver…

25th A Night of Prayer-April Birthdays

2nd Pajama Night- Come ready for bed in your comfy PJ’s

9thThank Your Leader Night- Bring a thank you note to give to your leaders

16thEnd of Season Beach Night and Awards- Join us as we celebrate all the hard work of our clubbers this year!! Come dressed for the beach (no swimsuits please!). Parents are welcome to attend!!–May Birthdays

The last meeting of every month, we will be honoring that month’s birthdays with special surprises. Make sure your birthday child is in attendance that day so they don’t miss out!!
