When the headline act fails to show up, Jango, a bumbling theatre caretaker, is suddenly thrust into the limelight and embarks on a hilarious journey of highly crafted and heart-felt silent comedy, magically realizing his dream of transforming into a star!

Jango Starr’s unique style of silent physical theatre includes contemporary circus clowning, slapstick comedy, puppetry, juggling and absurd magic. A truly unique performer with more than 25 years of international experience, his gift lies in his ability to bring laughter and joy to all ages, touching the child in everyone's heart.

Workshops
An opportunity after the show for audience members and the public to join Jango Starr in an experiential workshop exploring skills utilized in One Man Shoe.
Participants get to explore:
· The physicality and expression of the Clown.
· The Circus Skills of juggling and balancing various objects.
· And some quick to learn and fun visual Magic tricks.
Suitable for children 7+ and their families/carers. All equipment supplied.

Technical Information
Number in company on tour - One
There are two versions of the Show.
One for Small Scale Theatres and one for Community and School halls.
Small Scale Theatres
There is a simple lighting plan. Which requires a technician supplied by the venue to plot and operate the Lights.
Get In Time required: 4 hrs including light plot and tech.
Get Out Time required: 60 minutes
Community and School Halls
This version of the show is totally technically self-contained and adaptable. It requires one electrical socket, and tours with its own sound system. No Lights are required and it doesn’t require a blackout, a stage or rostra.
Get In Time required: 2 hrs from arrival to show time.
Get Out Time required: 60 minutes
Minimum performance space: Width 4m Depth 4m Height 3m
Preferred: Width 8m Depth 6m Height 4m
Public liability insurance and risk assessments supplied. All equipment is P.A.T. tested.
