Scavenger Hunt Using Digital Cameras: Opposites

Students divide in to teams of 2 or more with at least one team member having used a digital camera. Each team should get a digital camera and connection cord from the camera cart or the instructor, leaving some piece of identification in it’s place (ID card from one group member, etc)…you may retrieve this when the camera and cord are returned.

Move outside and complete the scavenger hunt to locate opposites:

·  Something that is thin

·  Something that is fat

·  Something that wet

·  Something that is dry

·  Something that is clean

·  Something that is dirty

·  Something that is slow

·  Something that is fast

·  Something that is short

·  Something that is tall

·  Something that is warm

·  Something that is cold

·  Something that is old

·  Something that is new

All images must be found on campus grounds. Teams should return to class in 40 minutes (or before) with all images captured. Please use good judgment when taking photos.

When returning to class, the images should be downloaded to the desktop, resized in Photoshop Elements, the Gimp or other editing program, renamed with descriptive names.jpeg and displayed in a PowerPoint presentation for sharing.
