AGREEMENT OF COOPERATION

between

CROATIAN CHAMBER OF ECONOMY

and

AUSTRALIAN CROATIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE – NSW Inc.

Sydney, August 2017

Australian Croatian Chamber of Commerce represented by Mr. Duro Fricek, President and the Croatian Chamber of Economy, represented by Mr. Luka Burilović, President (hereinafter referred to as the "Parties") in an effort to further deepen trade and economic relations, in the framework of existing legislation in the Commonwealth of Australia and the Republic of Croatia, accede to this Agreement on friendly cooperation and mutual benefit with the aim to develop bilateral cooperation between the Parties.

Representatives of both Parties believe that the establishment of a permanent and encouraging cooperation between companies and other entities in the Republic of Croatia and the Commonwealth of Australia will greatly contribute to the improvement of mutual bilateral business and economic relations.

Parties agree that with the aim to strengthen and develop bilateral economic cooperation between the Australian and Croatian organizations, both Parties will enter into the following Agreement:

Article 1

The Parties within their jurisdiction have a common purpose to focus on the activities of promoting and expanding trade and investment between the Croatian and Australian companies.

Article 2

The Parties agree that they will, in the framework of their jurisdiction, take measures for the activation and improvement of economic cooperation between the Australian and Croatian economic entities - members of both Parties.

Article 3

The Parties will exchange economic and statistical information as well as information on business and investment opportunities of members of both Parties in order to establish contacts and the implementation of joint projects.

Article 4

The Parties will support regular contacts and take necessary actions to improve trade and economic relations and mutually assist in the establishment of contacts between companies from the Republic of Croatia and the Commonwealth of Australia.

Article 5

The Parties will support the removal of barriers that prevent the development of trade and business, hence the barriers will be identified and attention will be drawn to point out the appropriate solutions.

Article 6

For the benefit of their members the Parties agree that they will mutually provide to each other information about the current legislation of the signatory countries, the applicable law and regulations, and other activities that are of interest and benefit to both Parties.

Article 7

The Parties will initiate exchange of business delegations, individual visits of representatives of respective business communities and when necessary business forums will be held.

Article 8

The Parties will initiate and, depending on the interest of their members, organize their participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, seminars and other similar events, which take place in countries signatory to this Agreement.

Article 9

Regarding the practical implementation of the Articles of this Agreement, in case of new circumstances that require the correction of the existing Articles or in case of adding new Articles to the Agreement, the Parties can review the Agreement for possible changes. In case of changes, after Parties agree on possible changes, the same will come in force with the Annex of the Agreement that can be changed or supplemented at any time.

Article 10

This Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period and will come into force at the moment of its signing by both Parties. The parties reserve the right to early termination of the Agreement with the prior consultation and written notice to the other Party regarding the termination of the Agreement. In the event of termination of this Agreement, any activity that is underway will be completed in accordance with the

terms of the Agreement. The Parties agree that this Agreement represents the bilateral cooperation between Parties involved and has no legal effect against third parties.

Article 11

This Agreement is drawn up in English language in two original copies. Each of the copies has the same legal force. After signing the Agreement, each party retains a copy of the same.
