ARGENTINA England has again entered the Copa de las Naciones, a 26 goal international tournament run by the Argentine Polo Association played at Palermo. AUSTRALIA Congratulations to James Beim (7) and James Harper (6) who won the Countess of Dudley Cup with Ellerston alongside Matt Grimes and David Paradice last week. They beat Scone (Rob and Jack Archibald and Jasper and Alec White) 8 – 6 to win the 18 goal tournament for the second year running.

POLO SERIES SPONSORED BY LYCETTS In 2014, RoR will give prizes at the International matches. In addition, there will be RoR prizes at the Pony Club Polo Championships on 10th August, as well as in selected medium and low goal games. For full details please see the ROR website

HPA MEMBERS’ CAR BADGE The HPA members car badge gives members access to the Audi Internationals at Beaufort (Saturday 21st June), Guards (Sunday 26th July) and Chester Racecourse (Saturday 6th September). Please see the HPA website for further details.

ST REGIS INTERNATIONAL CUP This year all HPA members will be given free entry to Cowdray Park Polo Club for the St Regis International Cup on Saturday 17th May 2014 when England will play South America. Members will be requested to show their membership card which they will receive in their membership pack for 2014.

TWITTER AND FACEBOOK The HPA will now share news, information and competitions through their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Please follow! and @hpapolo, and for the Audi International for the Coronation Cup @CoronationCup.

WELFARE BOOKLETS This year all members will receive a Welfare Booklet in their membership pack. These are produced in both English and Spanish. Please read them carefully and pass them to anyone that is involved in the care of your horses.

HORSE PASSPORTS Please ensure that all of your horse passports are up to date. If you have a horse without an up to date passport you are liable to receive a considerable fine. The HPA will continue to issue passports for the time being but will at some stage hand over that responsibility to Weatherbys. If you have any queries, please contact the HPA.
