a) P&C acct and Canteen acct combined has a total of $15993.17 to spend / NAR
5 / Voted to give Jackson & Emily up to & including $1000 for the Peer Support – the vote was ‘For’ & unanimous / C.Wollen / V.Every
6 / Janine Duggan- they have tons of items
7 / Mother’s Day Stall Update - $1180 profit
b) Gillian discussed a music session with Kindergarten to Year 3 & siblings – 5 wk program starting week 5 of term 2. No cost, limited spaces – 8.40 to 9.25am
c) Tanya – Sponsorship for the signboard – Warren Scott to quote.
d) Specifications to come from Peter Taylor, Jackson & Emily for shelving in the storage rooms
e) Paul Petersen to get quotes for a trophy’s cabinet
f) School Captain v’s SRC Presidents there are differing roles. SRC Presidents suits better.
8 / Principal’s Report – presented by Paul Petersen
a) Hall Data Projector – we vote to give Paul up to & including $4000 to fix the HDP (if insurance doesn’t pay)
b) Afternoon on the Green – getting quotes for cardboard frames – P&C may need to pay for them.
c) Australian Election 2016 – 2nd July, our school may be the voting hub, we can run a sausage sizzle & cake stand to raise money (coffee cart)
d) PBL Update by Debbie Hobbs – new serfie card, no folding, a whole school reward for 5 pieces of jigsaw. / S.Soster / M.Bourke
9 / Uniform Shop Report by Jennifer Lowe – It was a painless transition. $500 in sales & $108 in 2nd hand clothing. The shop is going well.
10 / Grounds Committee Update -
a) Gate to be rehung to the other side of the driveway (Vanessa will do it) 100mm pole, cemented
b) Alice’s Buddy Chair – Year 3 to do artwork?? Chair is already made – Cartia will chase it up
11 / Canteen Update – N/A
12 / 5c Fridays Fundraiser idea by Jen Lowe – a jar will go into each classroom for them to fill with 5c coins
