Treasurer report was read by Tanya Crawford. Motion to approve was made by Chad Waldenberger and 2nd by Michelle Rud.

Old Business:

Computer program – The decision was made to change computer programs. Since the last meeting all the results from the previous rodeos up thru current date has been moved to the new program. There are some things the new program cannot do, but far more that it can do. There will be changes made over the winter and asked of members/contestants to simplify all processes next year. Look for new membership forms and information asked of contestants. We also received a call from a new family this year. Nick Mathey, his family and company, Pipe View America, would like to purchase the program for LBW. So please thank him and his family the next time you see him.

New Business:

One go rodeo – Many families have asked if this is an option. They live close to one of the rodeos and would like to participate, but only in that rodeo. Most are unwilling to pay the yearly membership for only one rodeo. Tabled for further discussion.

Banquet committee – we are in need of a banquet committee to finalize all the details for the banquet this winter. If interested please let myself, Greg, Tanya or Chad know.

Buckles for Banquet – Abby Dressler has been in discussion with Tres Rios to possibly make custom buckles again for the banquet. They would need a 6 week lead time to make. This company would throw in the 4 all around buckles in for free if we would go with them for the rest of the buckles. There are a couple of other companies that might be possibly interested in making them also. Dale Boettcher is going to look into this and get back with us.

Senior Scholarships – These are due Oct 30th and 4 are given out. Please make sure to get these into Abby Dressler in time.

Gate trailer – This last winter we purchase new steel. Along with it came a trailer that is in need of sand blasting to get rid of the rust. Gary Mitchell has spoken with someone that would be willing to do this along with the underneath of it for $8000. This gentleman would also replace all the wood on trailer as well. We would wait to give the trailer to him until the end of the year. Tabled for further discussion

Timers – In Amherst there were issues with one of the sets of timers. We will be sending them in this winter to have them looked at, pending results, we may be in need of purchasing new ones. Tabled until we received word they are ok.

Contestant shirts – We have received these back from Rusty Wear. If you have not received your shirt please ask at check in. Abby Dressler will have them at Viroqua and Holmen.

State Finals – This will be held in Holmen again Sept 19th and 20th.. Reminder to please send in your money for Saturday only. As LBW pays for the Sunday draw. Saturday will be ran as a normal rodeo. When results are ran the top 25 will be asked to check in for Sunday. If there are contestants that are not able to attend Sunday 21-25 will roll up.. The top 20 will run on Sunday, in one single arena in order of standings.

Sara Burks has also received $2500 in sponsorships for finalists jackets for this. We will be compiling sizes and will have the jackets available for ALL contestants when they check in Saturday night for Sunday.

Next meeting will be in Viroqua on Sunday at 8am.

Motion to adjourn by Gary Mitchell and 2nd by Chad Waldenberger.
