Functional Links: Post holder communicates on a daily basis with Customers, Suppliers of goods and services and Council Officers and Employees of Solutions SK.
Main Purpose of job: To provide a professional service and comprehensive support to the HR function.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To have full responsibility for a number of key HR processes including:
  • Recruitment
  • New Starters
  • DBS
  • Induction Journey
  • Change of contractual details
  • Leavers
  • Flexi Time System
  • Audits – Annual checks, DBS, Right to Work, Training, etc.
To provide a professional and engaging service whilst acting as the primary point of contact between the company and its suppliers and potential recruits, ensuring that all queries are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner both over the phone and face to face
To assist in the provision of support to the HR function whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times
To assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the reception area
Ensure visitors follow security and Health & Safety procedures
Diary Management of meeting rooms
Resources:The post holder will be responsible for the care of all items of ICT equipment supplied for their use, including communications equipment, hardware and software packages.
Job Activities:
  • To undertake all administrative activities aligned with the key HR processes to ensure they are completed from start to finish in a timely and efficient manner
  • To handle all queries from employees, potential recruits and external suppliers in relation to the HR processes in a professional manner
  • Administrative activities will include filing, mail merges, updating documents (Microsoft Office), photocopying (this is not an exhaustive list) as requested by the HR Function
  • To work with the HR Manager and other members of the HR function to ensure that work is completed correctly and within company guidelines.
  • To support reception and receive and deal with enquiries at Enterprise House reception, by telephone, in person, via mail and email from a wide range of customers and suppliers on a daily basis.
  • To open, log and distribute post and record and frank all outgoing post for Enterprise House.
