Part 5

Audio/Visual Info Sheet

This form is designed to assist both the Sound Technician and the Wedding Party in assuring that all things technical can go as smoothly as possible the days of the rehearsal and the wedding ceremony.

Any music/musicians/videos that are to be used during the wedding ceremony need to present at the rehearsal. This benefits the Wedding Party and the Wedding Coordinator in timing the flow of the ceremony, and it helps the Sound Technician in being able to provide the highest quality sound possible. Timing and/or logistical issues can best be observed and rectified during the rehearsal when everyone is present. Any musicians unable to attend the rehearsal should at least provide a recording of their music, and they will need to be available to sound check 30 minutes before the ceremony begins on the day of the wedding.

The Wedding Party is free to provide a video/slideshow to be shown before, during, and/or after the ceremony. All such videos need to be in the DVD format. Please only use DVD + or - R discs (no rewriteable discs) to ensure full compatibility. Videodiscs, Windows Media videos, PowerPoint slideshows, and other nonstandard formats will not be accepted. For an additional fee, and if contacted at least one week in advance, the Sound Technician may be able to assist in getting the video into compliance. Any questions should be directed to the Technician assigned by the Wedding Coordinator.

A CD copy of the wedding ceremony will be available shortly after the ceremony is over. If not claimed on the day of the wedding, the CD (and any other music/videos/etc… left behind) will be available in the Valley Church office from Linton Lundeen, Pastor of Care and Counseling. If a videographer is present and requests the CD of the ceremony, he/she will be asked by the Sound Technician to sign a release form, which will then also be available from Pastor Linton.

The following items will give the Sound Technician an advanced understanding of the Wedding Party’s needs.

  1. Specify instrument(s) other than piano
  2. Specify location desired for the instrument(s)
