Appendix A: Local User Group Status Update

This will be a permanent/regular segment of the CGUN Agenda will be dedicated to updating each other on relevant progress with the CDIS User Network community in the various regions.

Local User Groups are asked to provide (in advance), a short update in 1 or 2 slides which would provide the following information (as guideline):

  • Local User Group Information
  • Name of local User Group
  • Verification of the local User Group representative(s) to the CGUN
  • Local User Group Update
  • Any updates regarding organization (e.g., Executive Team, development of ByLaws, Charter)
  • Any updates regarding recent/upcoming meetings
  • Any updates regarding memberships (e.g., Skill types such as programming or Data Management, member companies such as CROs, Pharma, other?)
  • Any updates regarding involvement of members in any CDISC activities (e.g., conferences, training, initiatives)
  • Any updates regarding regional User Group collaborations (e.g., all User Groups in a particular planning joint meetings, or integration to a CDISC Coordinating Committee)
  • Local User Group Interests
  • Any new expertise being identified (e.g., SDTM, ODM, Therapeutic Area, etc.)
  • Any identified need for training (for CDISC to address), engagement (for all of us to work through)
