TEACHING EXAMPLES:

1.  You are waiting to use the bathroom because it is busy so you whisper talk to the person next to you.
2.  You are not sure if the bathroom stall is available because the door is shut so you knock on the door and politely ask if anyone is in there.
3.  You sing “ABC Song” in your head while you wash your hands to be sure that you have scrubbed them long enough before rinsing the soap off.
4.  You remember that you have lunch money to turn in while you are on your way to the bathroom but you only have permission to be at the bathroom. You use the bathroom and let your teacher know that you have the money when you return to class.
Please feel free to use other examples that are appropriate for your students.
