2016-2017 JCMS Football

Attention Student Athletes and Parents/Guardians:

Please review workout and practice calendar for the summer. Please take the time and do the workouts, the first week of practice is primarily, heavy conditioning, if you have not conditioned all summer then the first week will be VERY DIFFICULT for you.

Football Coaches: Head Coach John Foust, Assistants: Coach Luna, Coach Martinez, Coach Miller.

One, very important thing to remember is that you are a student first, then an athlete second. Your work ethic in the classroom will reflect on the football field. Your work ethic at practice will be an indication of your game performance. You give 100% in the classroom, then I see 100% on the practice field, and the fans, families, teachers, friends, and anyone else will see 100% on the field. 100% on the field results in victories.

The football team is my/your family, we are all brothers. We don’t disrespect our brothers. We stick up for our brothers, we use intelligence and honor in everything we do. We are good sportsman, whether we win or lose, we hold our heads high. We show respect to all persons of authority, coaches, teachers, principals, officers, other players, referees, etc…
