Budget
We have over $5,000 in scholastic dollars to be used towards library books/reading wall books. Jill suggests that next year instead of receiving scholastic dollars, the PTO takes the actual proceeds.
Family Dinner Nights has brought in $1,819.94 but we are still waiting on $225 from Firehouse Subs and proceeds from Pita Jungle.
300 Year Books were purchased but Jill has received money for only ½ of that. Mrs. Brunner will send a list serv out to parents as a reminder to buy theirs.
May 13this the deadline for teacher classroom grants.
For the 2015-2016 school year the PTO spent $25,702.23. With direct donations and other fundraisers we brought in $14,503.72. If we continue to not bring in money our funds will be depleted.

Meeting Attendance
Per our PTO Bylaws, Executive Board Members need to participate in at least 80% of the Executive Meetings and 75% in the Colina Community Meetings.
Mrs. Brunner wants to make sure that once we pick dates for our meetings we keep these dates in place. If something happens where you cannot make a meeting that is a meeting you miss but the date will not be changed. If Mrs. Brunner cannot make a meeting she will have her assistant principal participate on her behalf.
Mrs. Brunner wants to ensure our board is cohesive and working together. She would like to squash any negative conversation that may be happening on the outside in regards to our board. If you are on the board do not speak negatively about other board members. We need to be able to speak openly at our meetings. / Mrs. Brunner
